Hi, I'm Michelle

I was a wedding photographer for ELEVEN YEARS. My photographic journey started in 2008 when I bought my first "big girl" camera. A friend asked me to photograph her engagement photos on the beach with my new camera. It sounded like fun so I agreed to it. I had no idea what I was doing and I had no idea how much fun we would have. We had a blast! I was hooked... and the journey began. I tried my hand at so many different genres of photography after that day and settled into an 11 year career in weddings. I found my voice, my style, and my joy in those eleven years. I traveled the world to meet amazing people and document incredible, heart melting stories. I honed my skills and instincts in the art. It was a rich experience but my best photographs were still rooted at home, with my own children, documenting my life as mom and our story together. There is an authenticity in home life and the mundaneness of everyday that is a rich narrative. It was a powerful anchor for me. Scanning my family photos would hold me on my floaty days, save me on my darkest times and punctuate my best moments. Those memories, those photographic entries, that catalog of moments ... it's my life. I exist in photos. I invite you to exist in photos with your family.
